Company Description:

A National upstream oil and gas company operating in international oil and gas exploration and production globally. 

 

Job Description:

  • To coordinate staff development through structured Competence Assurance and Training & Development programmes, in line with company policy and Area team development needs, within designated areas of responsibility.
  • To supervise and support the activities of Functional On Job trainers in delivering Training and Competence programmes.

1) Competence Assessment and Assurance:

  • Assess Assessor candidates for competence
  • Conduct Internal Verification of the CA&A process to ensure quality is maintained.
  • Identify Skills Gaps (both in Underpinning Knowledge and On Job competence)
  • Identify Training programmes (Off job and On Job) to address these deficiencies
  • Submit Performance indicators on a monthly basis to monitor progress.
  • Liaise with Line Supervision on a regular basis – meeting with each shift at least once per month.
  • Liaise with Training Department staff to ensure development packages fulfill requirements

2) Training and Development :

  • Conduct Training needs analysis in line with staff development programmes.
  • Verify training outputs and effectiveness of all On Job Trainers
  • Liaise with Training Department to address Underpinning Knowledge and Development course programmes.
  • Develop, in conjunction with the On Job Trainers, On Job training programmes to address
  • Line competence requirements.

OIL COMPANY EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

 

Qualifications/Experience:

The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:

  • (HND/Graduates staff) with more than 10 years field maintenance / operations exposure.
  • Workplace Assessors qualification (TDLB Units D.32/33 or A1)
  • Internal Verifiers qualification (TDLB Unit D.34 or V1)
  • Technical Support Level 4 Btec "Professional Diploma"
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Computer literate - excellent knowledge of using Micro Soft Office and SAP knowledge
  • Leads a group of On Job Trainers and Assessors
  • Maintains liaison with core teams
