Senior Hydraulic Engineer – Peru & Chile
Based in Lima, you will be leading a range of water resources, mining, and environmental projects. You should have the flexibility and desire to undertake occasional international travel and assignments.
Requirements:
* Experience in designing rainfall and stream protection systems
* Experience in designing dams, ponds, piping and pumping systems, as well as sewage system for rainfall
* Experience in River bed engineering
* BSc minimum with MSc degree preferred in hydraulic engineering, surface hydrology or related subjects
* At least 8 years experience in hydrology and hydraulic analysis, hydraulic structures, and engineering design
* Broad knowledge of water related issues of mining
* Experience in data gathering leading to the implementation of water balance models
* Effective written and oral communications skills
* Experience in south America a major plus
* Fluency in Spanish is mandatory
* Proficiency in English is an advantage
